Labour Day - Spirits Bar & Grill
It was a decent Labour Day crowd that gathered last night to enjoy the trail of sicko Birdbrain. The best weather of the summer allowed us to sit on the patio of Spirits even though Venta was present.
After stuffing our belongings in Sweet Cheeks big bag mobile we circled for chalk talk before heading west along Hayden towards the U of T.

The well marked trail was mercifully short. I must admit however, that I would have liked another loop around Victoria College where the unsuspecting froshettes were about to experience the joy of Panty Raids (ed note: they still do that?) for the first time.

Heading back across Yonge I was gobsmacked to see Shadow (yup... Shadow), leading the pack into the ideally located and under hashed Fiddler’s Green Pub. After listening to Yakkety Yak, ummm yak for 20 minutes it was time to return to Spirits.

At Spirits, Humpday was able to shake down the barkeep for down down beer long before the pack could place their orders with the waitress. As a result, the half minds were pretty much forced to look at Humpday during down downs... instead of the bottoms of their pint glasses.

Punishments were given to...

Ill hare Birdbrian
Tin man Shampoo for failing to oil his hardware
Teetotaling Wet ‘n Dirty for giving Shampoo a big one
Just Cicily for voyeuristic tendencies
Over achiever Casket Case for jogging to the hash
Yakkety Yak for shortcutting our Choir Mistress and Moist Leatherette for allowing herself to be shortcutted.
Flyer, Casket Case and Shadow for travelling out of country
and amazingly, Shadow for being FRB

With formalities out of the way, the mob got down to the important business of debating the relative merits of the Dirty Sanchez and the Dirty Rodriguez. It was a draw.
